As the discussion and regulations around CRT packaging move forward it will be very important for the industry to make critical decisions on the product temperature criteria. This decision will have the greatest impact on the cost of the TAP packaging. Other factors must also be considered after the product temperature criteria have been defined. Suppliers of TAP packaging can design a package for any product temperature criteria chosen. Products with strict USP criteria will benefit from using advanced PCM’s in that specific temperature range.
