Sonoco Publishes New Sustainability Report

Sonoco (NYSE:SON), one of the largest global sustainable packaging companies, published its Corporate Sustainability Report that includes updates to the company’s three pillars of Sustainability including People, Planet and customers in support of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.

The annual report outlines the company’s extensive Environmental Policies, aligned to global standards and reporting agencies, ensuring all operations are in full compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations.  The company’s sustainability goals are based on data-driven scientific criteria and include ambitious targets. Emissions and Energy Use

  • 1 and 2 GHG emissions reduced by 8% and emission intensity (tCO2e / thousand $ revenue) declined 2%.
