New ThermoSafe EMEA Sales Director Appointment Fuels Growth in Region

[Arlington Heights, IL, USA] – April 22, 2024

Sonoco ThermoSafe, one of the world’s largest providers of thermal assurance packaging, announces expansion of the EMEA commercial team, most recently with its appointment of a new EMEA Sales Director, Andy Holloway.

Biopharmaceuticals, vaccines and other specialized medicines continue to increase in volume coming from pharmaceutical R&D pipelines into clinical trials and onto global markets. These temperature sensitive medicines require carefully engineered thermal packaging.

Due to these higher demands in EMEA and around the globe, we are delighted to welcome Andy Holloway, who has over 21 years’ experience in a combination of clinical trial logistics, storage and distribution, cold chain and the biopharmaceutical industry. He was a Business Development Director with Marken, with a customer base across the EMEA region and prior to that a Strategic Account Manager for UK and Ireland with Envirotainer and within the BioPharm Services of World Courier.

“We have an aggressive growth strategy to meet increasing customer demands and are delighted to have Andy on board to help lead the charge in the coming years. He brings a wealth of experience in cold chain pharmaceuticals and a proven track record of success in driving sales growth. We believe his strategic vision and leadership will play a pivotal role in achieving our company’s sales objectives”, says Gary Morgan, General Manager, Sonoco ThermoSafe Europe.

Andy lives in Kingswood, near Reigate in Surrey with his family. He enjoys sports and is a part time rugby coach at Ealing Trailfinders, as well as a consultant kicking coach to the England Women’s national rugby team. He has a coaching management style, adapting concepts/principles and ideas to the individual involved, focusing on performance and positive outcomes and accountability.
